Ramsha Shahid is a Partner at Privity Legal, specialising in landlord and tenant law, property disputes, and civil and commercial litigation. She advises individuals, landlords, tenants, investors and businesses on both contentious and transactional property matters.

Her landlord and tenant practice covers residential possession proceedings, rent arrears, tenancy disputes, statutory notices, deposit-related claims and housing disrepair matters. She also advises on commercial lease disputes, authorised guarantee agreements, rent deposit deeds, forfeiture and the enforcement of lease obligations.

Ramsha is particularly experienced in handling complex disputes involving contractual rights, commercial relationships and property interests. She provides strategic advice from the earliest stages of a dispute through to settlement negotiations and court or tribunal proceedings. Her approach combines detailed legal analysis with a strong commercial awareness of the client’s practical objectives, costs and wider business considerations.

Before joining Privity Legal, Ramsha gained substantial experience in civil litigation, property law and commercial disputes in England and Wales. She has also provided legal support to businesses operating in the property and lettings sector, giving her a practical understanding of the regulatory and operational challenges faced by landlords, managing agents and property businesses.

Ramsha is an Advocate of High Courts of Pakistan since 2019 and registered as Foregein Lawyer in UK and has experience spanning corporate and commercial law, regulatory matters, procurement, constitutional and public-interest litigation, intellectual-property disputes and property due diligence. Her experience across different jurisdictions enables her to approach complex legal problems with a broad and commercially focused perspective.

In addition to legal practice, Ramsha has taught law and written on legal, constitutional and public-policy issues. She is known for her thorough preparation, clear and pragmatic advice, and determined representation of her clients.
